Burgista Bros – Historically Good Burgers
You know, you might think that our burgers take only minutes.
They arrive in minutes but in fact the secrets behind them have taken a lifetime.
Many lifetimes in fact.
From a time when life was slower, photographs were sepia and horsepower really did involve a horse.
We’re always thinking back to those artisans from another, grander time.

The freshly made and succulent Spicy Buffalo wings delivered just the right combination of tang and spice, while the chunky BBQ variety were coated in loads of finger-licking sweet and sticky sauce.
All burgers are 4.5 oz, seasoned with Maldon sea salt and served on a brioche bun with game lettuce, beef tomato, red onion and their signature sauces.
Hence, although slightly on the dry side, the burger had a mild sweetness to it from the crunchy onions.
Having said that though, the BBQ sauce they used was incredible with a depth of taste that really brought this burger alive.
It had a delicate sweetness to it delivered by the tomato, onions and burger sauce, while the mushrooms gave this that extra dimension.

D Young & Co | Burgerista Operations v Burgista Bros: infringement
staff food
Is the trade mark "BURGERISTA" for restaurant, canteen and bar services valid and infringed by the sign "BURGISTA" for the same services?
The Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) has held that it is.
We have published a more detailed update on this case: "Invalidity and infringement: Burgerista Operations v Burgista Bros".
In doing so, it rejected submissions that the trade mark, registered in 2014, was descriptive (it was argued that "... ISTA" used as a suffix denotes, inter alia, enthusiasm for that which preceded it, similar to barista or fashionista).
Here the CEO of Burgerista Operations, Mr Werner, demonstrated the following: As to unfair advantage or detriment, the court held that the claimant did not have a sufficient reputation to substantiate the cause of action.
Burgista Bros - Halal Girl About Town
food location staff
A couple of months ago, a handful of us halal food bloggers were invited to a burger restaurant for a free meal in return for a review.
Basically, what I’m getting at is that when you have the trust of your reader’s judgement in your hands, not only should you try to be impartial, you should also disclose somewhere in your “raving” review stating that your meal was free.
So getting back to my story, when I got invitation from Burgista Bros to come and try out their burger offerings, I decided to respectfully decline and instead headed down there myself with BW!
£22.50 so per person which is pretty good because the burgers are more gourmet and less fast foody, and since they have meal deals where you can add fries with a shake/soda for £2.99/£3.99 extra.
So, from my impartial point of view, I thought that Burgista made a really good effort and deserves some credit, I would even go so far as to say it it one of the better of the recent halal fast fooders to open up, but at the end of the day it is just another burger joint.
